Solution B is a patented (#7,111,909) threaded internal centering sleeve. Our sleeves stay on the wheel permanently and center the brake drum (universal brake drums) as well as the wheel.

Our sleeves are threaded inside for proper alignment and are used at the 12, 4 and 8 oclock positions. One set includes six sleeves and will center one axle. One Solution B product has three sleeves per wheel.

We offer many different sizes to fit most brake drums and wheels.

How/Why TRU-BALANCE Works

When mounting hub-piloted wheels all the weight of the wheel and tire rests on the top pilots creating a gap in the bottom pilots, leaving the wheel off center. A small gap the size of a business card can result in an off center wheel and an "egg-shaped" motion upon rotation. This uneven motion results in tire vibration and irregular tire wear. Even if you balance the tires, the wheel is still off center. The bottom line is you can't balance an egg.

The TRU-BALANCE products bypass the hub-pilots and center the wheels back to the wheel studs which is the true center of the wheel. Once the wheels are properly centered the uneven motion and out of round condition is eliminated. The result is increased tire life, increased fuel mileage and an unbelievably smooth ride.

Correct/Incorrect Install

To Find Your Brake Drum Number

Call your trucks manufacturer
Ask for the parts department
Give the last eight digits of your trucks VIN number
Have them look up the Line Set Ticket or Build Sheet
Ask for brand and part number of the steer axle brake drums

YOU MUST HAVE THE CORRECT BRAKE DRUM NUMBER FOR YOUR TRUCK. Our Solution "B" sleeve sets are sized to fit with specific brake drums

The shoulder that centers the brake drum SHOULD NOT PROTRUDE past the brake drum.
